象形字

在汉字的发展过程中，字形越来越不象形了，所以很多象形字我们今天看上去已经不像它表示的意思了，但也有部分象形字今天看起来仍然很象形。另外也有一部分简化字，在简化之后更像它所表示的意思，例如“伞”，“网”就是这样的字。
With the development of the Chinese characters, the shape of the characters are becoming harder to recognize. Although, nowadays many of the pictographs do not look like their meaning, however some pictographs still look like their original meaning. In addition, there are some simplified Chinese characters that suggest their meanings by their shapes after been simplified. Such as “伞”，“网”, are of this kind.
