与其……，不如……

表示经过比较后选择一方，舍弃另一方。舍弃的是“与其”后面的内容，选择的是“不如”后面的内容。
与其……，不如……indicates that after a comparison, one option should be shosen, and the other given up. The option to be fiven up is spoken or written after 与其, while the option to be chosen is spoken or written after 不如.
